Pacific Arts Group Guidelines

This document covers issues that are not suitable or practical to be included in the by-laws, especially monetary matters that should be reviewed frequently.
1) The amount of annual dues will be reviewed yearly. Currently, the dues for active members are $50.00 per year. Dues for honorary members are $10.00 per year.
2) In order to prevent burn-out, it is recommended that a president’s term be limited to 2 years.
3) The board may authorize payments of up to $300 without approval of the general membership.
4) One membership slot is to be left open for a returning member, who for no fault of their own could no longer be active: i.e., moving out of the area temporarily.
5) Demos and Workshops: PAG will collect all workshop fees with the goal of making workshops self-sustaining and help cover cost of demos
PAG will pay a guest artist up to $300 for a demo only (no gas money added), limited to 3 per year (spring, summer, fall).
Demo plus workshop: PAG offers up to $600 for the day. Artist rates is excess of $600 for demo/workshop are contingent on enrollment or PAG approval.
Participant registration for workshops if paid by the deadline set by organizer is $50 payable to PAG. Late enrollment is $65. Workshop is subject to cancellation due to low enrollment. Workshop payments are non-refundable except if the workshop is cancelled, or payment is received from a replacement from a waiting list.
